Who is this course designed for?

The course is designed primarily for Basic Physician Trainees preparing for the FRACP examination, particularly those wanting a structured and exam-focused review of cardiology.

It may also be useful for advanced trainees, residents, or junior doctors who want a concise cardiology update, but the content is aimed at the BPT/FRACP level.

When is BPT Cardiology 2026?

BPT Cardiology 2026 will be held on Saturday 3 October and Sunday 4 October 2026.

Where is the course held?

The in-person course will be held at Epworth Richmond Hospital, 89 Bridge Road, Richmond VIC 3121.

Online live-stream attendance is also available.

When will the meeting link be sent?

A link to the online meeting will be emailed to registrants one week prior to the course. A second email will also be sent the night before the course.

Attendance Options

Can I attend online?

Yes. BPT Cardiology 2026 is available as an online live-streamed course for participants who cannot attend in person.

Can I attend in person?

Yes. In-person attendance is available at Epworth Richmond Hospital, Richmond VIC.

Is the course live or recorded?

The course includes live lectures, either in person or online, with post-course access to recordings for revision.

Will I be able to access recordings after the course?

Yes. Registered participants receive access to recorded lectures after the course. For BPT Cardiology 2026, recordings are available from 12 October 2026 to 15 February 2027.

Registration and Access

How do I register?

You can register through the BPT Cardiology 2026 registration page. During registration, you will be asked to select your attendance mode, create a BPT Cardiology account, and proceed to payment.

Why do I need to create an account?

Your BPT Cardiology account allows access to course resources, including the MCQ question bank. Your email address is also used as your username and for course-related communication.

Which email should I use to register?

We recommend using an email address linked to a Google account.

Access and Resources

When will the MCQ bank be available?

The MCQ question bank will be available 1-2 weeks after the live event.

How long will I have access to recordings?

For BPT Cardiology 2026, recorded lectures will be available from 12 October 2026 to 15 February 2027.

Can I watch the recordings multiple times?

Yes. The recordings are provided for post-course revision during the access period and can be watched multiple times while access remains active.

Will online attendees receive the same resources?

Yes. Online attendees receive access to the same course resources, MCQs, and recordings as in-person attendees.

Practical Questions

What time does the course run?

The course runs over two full days. Registration begins at 7:30 am, and teaching starts at 8:00 am. The program finishes at approximately 4:30-4:45 pm each day.

Are breaks included?

Yes. The program includes morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea breaks on both days.

Is catering included in the in-person attendance?

Yes. Catering is included for in-person attendees. Dietary requirements can be accommodated if provided in advance.

Can I ask questions during the course?

Yes. The course format includes live teaching and MCQ sessions, which are designed to be interactive. Online attendees can also participate during live sessions.

After the Course

Will this course be enough by itself to pass the FRACP exam?

No single course can guarantee success in the FRACP exam. BPT Cardiology is designed to help you consolidate high-yield cardiology content, practise MCQs, and guide your revision, but it should be used alongside your broader FRACP study program.
